What separates my current studio from others (including my own previous shops) is the feel of the studio. It's the place I always wanted to work - an intimate space full of art and mojo, with nods to traditional tattoo, and the legends that came before us. I have had a chance to meet and work with a number of legends in the industry, and my education continues to this day.
I am a Veteran and served in Operation Desert Storm as a ICU Corpsman, and ended my enlistment as a Shift Supervisor of Naval Hospital Groton, CT Emergency Department.
I stress the importance of procedure in tattoo as a former medical professional, and I use only the highest quality supplies and tools.
I appreciate and honor working with other Veterans and their families in a genuine appreciation of their service.
I believe that every tattoo should be a work of art. That's why I work closely with clients to understand their vision and create custom designs that exceed their expectations.

I believe that every tattoo should be a work of art. That's why I work closely with clients to understand their vision and create custom designs that exceed their expectations.
But beyond that, there's an aspect of tattoo that is often overlooked. It's the world's "Second Oldest Profession" according to Lyle Tuttle, and I think it's important to consider a few fundamental things about tattoo:
A tattoo is IMPLANTED INSIDE THE SKIN.
It becomes a part of you, and carries the energy of the experience, and the artist's technical competence.
It also carries the energy of dealing with pain (both physical and mental) in a way many have had little prior experience with. - especially when it comes to memorial tattoos, and those with deep personal meaning. We value client connection in times like that and appreciate you choosing the studio for these kinds of pieces.
My studio operates with the intent of paying homage to the "woo" or energy of place and space. You are the only "You" in all of existence, and the experience should reflect that originality
I have been fortunate enough to travel earlier in my career, and have had a fair amount of success in Tattoo Convention competitions. It's an honor to be judged by your peers for your work, but it really comes down to great clients and great ideas.

In 2006 we hit the road to our first show: Portland, Maine's "Mad Hatter's Tattoo Convention" with some of the East Coast's finest tattoo artists. I had been a professional artist for less than a year, and won "Women's Best Small Color".
I have since won awards in Black and Gray Realism, Portraiture, Sleeve Work (Black and Gray and Color) at several conventions across the country, and added a trophy rack to the studio space. I retired from trophy hunting as a sport, but they still look pretty while they are gathering dust.
Great work is easily recognizable. Creating custom award-winning art since 2005. Come celebrate your own unique tattoo work with us. Check out the trophies if you like.
